It belong in a museum
October 2023, Milan, Italy.
When “Museum” was elected as the theme for the BITSY FEST (bitsy jam #77), at first, I thought I didn’t have anything to say. I was wrong.
The primary source of inspiration for me is memory, and I remember an impressive museum I visited In October 2017 in Berlin with a friend of mine.
It’s the Pergamonmuseum.
What makes the collection impressive is the size of each piece. You can see statues, colonnades, staircases, ancient facades, and even a gate to the capital of Babilonia.
I made the entire game on the go, with Bitsy on Safari on my mobile phone.

P.S. If you plan to visit this place, I should warn you that Pergamonmuseum may be closed for renovations, and it seems it will reopen regularly only in 2027. Truly worth a visit when it will be open again.

Genuinely loved the artistry, the variety, the humor. Each room in the museum feels impressive and just plain delightful to look at and interact with. And there's SO much of them!
Switching between a "general view" and a "close-up" was very cool, I liked the portraits! Ah, also - cool puzzles!

P.S.: Small nitpick: some of the exits don't seem to work right, moving between rooms sometimes feels janky. Also, giving me a game over for trying to pick both raisins and chocolate, really? Is that really so serious for you? :)

Thanks for the feedbacks. It was the first time I tried exit transition effect, and I may have used them even where they don’t fit properly.
I haven’t considered at all that a game over for choosing both cookies was harsh or unexpected. Of course is not that much serious to me, if you don’t choose I will have my favorite one for me and leave the other one to you! 🍪
