Behind the game
I wondered it was possible to make a horror game in bitsy.
Soon I understood that this small game deals about some of my fears, represented as monsters.
I'm glad all those fears does not refers to any personal experience.
**spoiler alert**
The games starts in the bedroom of what for me is a standard apartment in a ordinary condo.
Most of the monsters are representation of my fear of war. The huge human outside that will try to catch you from the window and to crush you on the ground outside is the projection of a bombing. This is also the reason because you can't go back, once you leave the apartment you will fall in a deep pit because it has been destroyed.
At the Fire prevention course they taught me how to use a fire hose. They told us: "None of you will ever use it to extinguish a fire. But maybe you don't live on the ground floor. If so, I'm sure on the stairs there is fire hose. If on a lower floor there is a fire, you can use the fire hose to chill the stairs, and open a way out of the building."
I'm grateful for that lesson, but I'm frighten from that possibility.
This is what you are facing on the stairs, fire. Even if it looks like a marine alien from space invader, and even if I colored them to look like ghosts.
